Hi Everyone!
Hi, I'm Cam. I saw this on Dream.in.code and thought it looked like a fun idea. I'm a high school junior, and I have experience in C++, Java, and Labview (although I doubt LabView will be helpful here). Java is the language I know best, but I can usually pick up a language fairly quickly, if someone will point me towards some good resources. I have no experience in using graphics in programming, but I can program most simpler things, and if I can see an example code, I could probably come up with some basic graphics if needed.
So, what's happening with the project? On the Dream.in.code forums, The Most Beautiful of Godesses said that it was shut down for a while, then started back up, and I never heard if it even got past the storyline.

Re: Hi Everyone!
We've made a lot of progress in the BGM, character art and storyline. The coding and programming is in the early stages.

Re: Hi Everyone!
This project doesn't pertain only to the rpg we are doing, you can think of some other mini games or something. Also, any software you want to develop to help with the development of games are also welcome. As soon as I get time, I'm going to do a big reconstruction of this forums. -__- I am quite stressed, and it's only the 4th day of winter quarter lol.
Re: Hi Everyone!
As of now, I have a basic engine set up in XNA and C# but am not sure if I want to use it or not. The extensibility of it is not the best and I already have started re-writing it to make it a lot more manageable and what not. After taking my XNA class I learned a lot of mistakes I made early on and am currently correcting those! I am still kind of wondering what language we should continue on with as well. It seems like we have more C++ coders here (I know C++,Objective-C, C#, etc, so I can work with whatever) and it may be a good idea to see what you guys would rather use.
Re: Hi Everyone!
Well I know C++ (main language), C and Obj-C, but not C# or XNA. I also think that we should be focusing our efforts on a more cross-platform game, so C#/XNA would not be good choices. I think the game should be mainly written in C/C++, but that's just my opinion.

Re: Hi Everyone!
Or we could talk about the direction of the project inside a self intro topic! Productive--;
